Middle East University (Jordan)
Middle East University (MEU) Since universities are pillars of knowledge and grounds for building future generations , MEU has adopted and upheld the slogan " Knowledge is Power " . The university works on creating a distinctive academic atmosphere for its chosen students and highly qualified staff members , moreover , the extensive university library ,state of the art laboratories , and other facilities are all geared to achieve the university policy .
== Brief History of Middle East University ==
The university inaugurated its first phase with the name "The Middle East University of Graduate Studies" on June 30,2005, after having completed all the requirements of licensing and accreditation including the provision of qualified faculty members and administrative staff, and developed study plans. The university received the first batch of students in twelve specialized master's program at the beginning of second semester of the academic year 2005/2006. At the beginning of the academic year 2008/2009, the university received in its second phase, the first batch of undergraduate students in twelve specializations in buildings with total area (25000) m ².
